Chari looked down at it, mesmerized slightly, until the shadows started moving. "Watch out!" she said, before backing away. "Whatever it is, we should contact the demonologists or magicians. One of the two will know what to do with it."

he turned and jumped to the side. the shadows swirled around the amulet, and covered it up. the male slowly eased toward it. he tried to poke it with the tip of his sword. the shadows knocked his sword from his paw.

"gah! what in the 5 levels of hell is this thing? where did it come from?" he kicked a rock at it. again the shadows knocked it away.

catalina looked to the blades. "my amulet is securely bound. you may do what you need." her eyes fell on his majesty. "please be careful."

Takashari nodded, before nodding at his Blades. He then made his way over with ease. "We are going to go over the wall and infiltrate quick. I need you to follow and watch out for sentries, and take out those that are easy to eliminate," he whispered, before silently moving back. "Wait for the bird call," he said as he left.

Catalina nodded. She cupped her paws together, forming a staff. it was made of crystal, though not ornate. It was just a long stick. she crouched in the shadows, waiting. The tigress was steeling herself. She did not want to do harm to these people, but her pride and her wares were taken from her. Honor demanded revenge in kind. SHe was going to hurt them, though not kill if she could help it. She may be a demon, but a Daemon she was not. She had no lust for bloodshed, though when it started, even she had trouble controlling her urges for battle.

Inside the walls, various things were going on around the ball of shadows. No one wanted to get close, seeing what it made one of their weaker members do. And seeing that it fed on the soul of the poor sod when he died, they didn't want to touch it. Anything that got too clsoe to the shadows was knocked away. Rocks, sticks, weapons and even paws were knocked away with some force.

Takashari nodded to the signaler, and the strange warble of the chickatree sounded out, clear enough for the group but not the people inside. Takashari shifted the climbing claws in his hands and made sure his feet ones were set, before they began their dash to the wall. Takashari immediately jumped, slapping his hands to the wall and digging the claws in after he was set. The rest of the Blades, and shadowy as they were, did the same, and the climb over was quick, the claws catching in the smallest of cracks and allowing them leverage.

Chari was meanwhile shivering, freaked out. The resident Demonologist soon came with the smell of brimstone on him. He carefully looked at the amulet, studying it for a short while...

Catalina waited just long enough for the blades to reach the top of the wall. Then she shot off into the air. Over the wall, she hit the ground hard enough to crater it. An angry succubus in all her demonic splendor. The tigress shifted her staff and spoke very slowly. "I ..... Want....My.... AMULET!!!!!" she shot at the demonologist and snatched him up in her paws. Flaring her wings and knocking others away, she held the guy up off the ground. "You DARE believe yourself capable of touching it? If I were of a mind, I'd break you...." She roared in his face, as loud as she could. Then she dropped him, pinning him down with the end of her staff.

The tigress felt the air shift behind her, and tilted to the side. A sword hit the ground where she had been. She spun and back handed the warrior that had swung at her. Knocking him off his feet, she twirled and jumped, kicking another in the face. She was in full battle mode, and very angry. She was getting hungry again to add to her problems. She needed that amulet. It was so close now, within her reach if these fools would just leave her alone. Then she felt pain. An arrow in her shoulder. She screamed, grabbing it and ripping it out.

Takashari growled, the Blades jumping down. They drew many weapons, from Sai to Ninja-To, and filtered through the crowd to her side. They went blades out, and were going to help her push toward the amulet.

Meanwhile Takashari moved along the wall, cutting off the sentries from sounding the alarm, his blade flashing in three quick cuts and dropping all three sentries that were running. He wanted the true surprise to come to the boss in a little bit...

Catalina watched Takashari, knocking a warrior off her back with a wing. She saw a shadow move, and a stealthy sentry going after the emperor's back. She swung her staff up, and sent it flying like a spear. The impact impaled the sentry to the wall, and he hung limply from the crystal spear. it was then she saw the archer. He was taking aim at her again. She saw the arrow leave the bow. Saw it in flight. She kicked up, using her wings to turn in air an rotate herself.

The Tigress landed on all fours. She stood, as the archer notched another arrow. She was tired of this, and flung her paw in the air. The result was for a set of shadow darts to leave her claws, and imbed themselves in the archer's neck. Catalina stood, and then turned her attention to Cheri. Snatching the young woman up, the cubi's glowing eyes flared brighter. "If you scream, I'll rip out your soul...... and I'm VERY hungry."

Cheri went wide-eyed, but her hands moved with practice, snapping up with the blade and cutting at her, the sword flashing in the air. Meanwhile, the forgotten Demonologist started chanting, his hands weaving slowly.

Takashari ducked as he heard the staff imbed itself, turning to see the dead sentry. He looked to Catalina and smiled, before he hopped over the edge. His hands gripped the wall, slowing his descent as he made his way to the ground, before he rolled and came up with his sword at the ready.

The Blades surged forward, cutting down the confused warriors as they made their way down to the amulet to make sure it ended up in the right hands.

Catalina's crytsline armor took the blows with little more than a loud noise. hearing the chanting, Catalina spread her wings and flipped back. her booted feet connected the Demonolosit in the shoulder with half her full force. Landing behind him, Catalina swung her paw up and grabbed the blade that was hacking at her. She held it in place, and started squeezing the metal in her paw. IT squealed as it began to give under her crusting force. The Feline soon held a crushed blade, her glowing eyes full of anger. "Stop....fighting me." She held the poor girl higher off the ground, giving her a light shake to get her point across.

As warriors fell before the blades, the amulet went right to work, drawing in their souls swiftly. The energy slipping right through the shadows and into the gemstone.

Takashari was swiftly at the ground, landing and immediately taking off. He was going for the weapons, and was going to cut down any in his way. Most didn't see the black figure, paying more attention to the outright fight going on at the commons.

The demonologist cursed, but managed to finish the spell, and the area smelt of strong brimstone. The area grew dark, and a fog formed as there was an audible 'pop!'. In the mist was an Glabrezu [here], mouth dripping as it surveyed its summoning circumstance...

The Blades fell back as the mist formed, and the Ikedas did the same. They started making signs and wetting their eyebrows to ward off the evil spirit that was just summoned, superstition taking over rationalization. Chari dropped her blade, scared for her life and eyes pleading with Catalina.

Catalina's full attention turned to the summoning. She slowly lowered Chari to the ground, giving her a soft push to the side. "Get out of here." she said gently.

Looking to the demonologist, she narrowed her eyes as she lifted her visor. "So you want to see what I am capable of. So be it...." she lowered her visor again, and then put her paws before her in some arcane gesture, and began to whisper in Infernian speech. The pure demonic language of her own home was something to listen too, often frightening mortals when she just swore, let alone began to actually use it.

As the energy built for the summoning, Catalina's own aura flared to bright life. The rolling blue flames rolled over her body, as the runes in her body and fur glowed white. She slowly spread her wings, gathering energy and continuing her chant softly.

Her amulet responded, glowing bright blue. it sensed it's master close, and was responding to her magics. The sight of an angry demon must be a sight, catalina thought in the back of her head. She had never seen herself like this, and wondered just what it looked like. Though the majority of her concentration was on gathering energy from the world around her. Soon energy began to flow out of the ground itself, joining her aura. Whatever was being summoned, Catalina didn't know what it was and worried if she could beat it. Open combat like this was not something she regularly took part in. Once a year at best.

When the view became clear, she grunted in frustration. "One of these?" she said in pure infernian speech. Her aura condneced around her, only rolling over her by an inch. She spread her wings and began to levitate off the ground. "Whatever realm you came form, you need to go back to it. I assume you know who I am, and I hereby command you to be gone. Unless, of course.....you desire combat."

The Glabrezu smiled, speaking in Infernian in turn. "Silly Succubus, you hold no sway anymore. I am under this fool's command, and I am going to have my fun while I can," he said, harsh voice cracking the words out. He lunged, claws snapping at her as his massive body moved with uncanny speed. He was going to feast today, if he had his way.

The Blades fell back, not sure what to do, and Takashari caught a whiff of the sulfur from where he was sneaking around. He cursed, turning. The Demon needed to be killed first, unless they wanted to have a rampaging creature soon.

Catalina's paw shot up, and grabbed the demon's paw. "I am...Catalina Tamiko, Sire heir to the Duchess Devina Tamiko. And I pity you for the fight you have picked." Shifting her weight, she twisted his arm and slid her foot around his ankle. Using the momentum, she slammed him on the ground and flipped away, which also put more distance between her and the amulet. Cursing herself silently, she pondered how long she could hold out without her amulet. Beating this thing was not possible without her full strength.

As she narrowed her eyes, she started forming an idea in her head. The demonologist could be used, and the demon obeyed him. If she could get to him, and force him to banish the thing, all would be settled easily. The problem was, getting around the puppet, to the puppet master.

The demonologist stood slowly, smiling. "You picked a fight you can't win, Succubus. I have more where this one came from," he said, his voice harsh and rasping.

The Glabrezu sighed, a deep, throaty sound. "I don't know why I let this happen, but Duchess Devina is no scare to me. You are well known down in Inferno, and you are not like the rest of us, and you scare only the weaker of us," he said, the voice snarling forth as he stood from a roll and immediately lunged, keeping her on the defensive with both claws snapping.

Takashari came around the corner to see the thing. "Spirits protect us," he whispered, watching the massive thing. He remembered the fact that these things were really tough, overly bold, for while on this realm they were invincible, simply being killed sent them home.
