Feila's major world powers are vying for colonial possessions, while at home powerful monarchies view with revolutionary movements unleashed by the Enlightenment. Wars are fought with musket and cannon; peace is clogged with endless frills. Edwin, Domus, Maze and Gawain are all constantly at war, with the Territory of the Ravens in between them. All natives are furry (Skin Avian are present here too). No native humans.

A small selection of films off Youtube which are set in the 18th century, to give an idea of what this age looks like.

Military - Armies of the 18th Century

A very good Canadian documentary on the Battle of the Plains of Abraham.

A clip from the film 'Barry Lyndon' - a very good film for those interested in the 18th century.

A clip from the film 'The Last of the Mohicans' - this scene was cut from the film.

Military -Navies of the 18th Century

HMS Victory, a real British warship of the period launched in 1765, fires a full broadside and sets off every car alarm in the area. 104-gun first-rate ships of the line such as this were flagships of 18th Century fleets.

A few clips from the film 'Master and Commander', showing just how dark, smoky and loud naval battles are on the gun decks. The film is set in 1804, but is pretty much the same sort of technology, dress and design as the Age of Muskets.
