Rinn felt a little ill every time he looked at her, seeing her stuck there like that. What really broke his heart though was knowing that she had no clue who he was.
He couldn't even look at her for long, although he didn't leave the room, simply waiting for his friend to arrive.

It took a few hours, but finally the programmer showed up.
Rinn met him outside, giving the somewhat nerdy panther a halfhearted smile.
"This had better be good, man." The programmer said. "I was making good progress on an important program."

"I'm sorry Tom," Rinn replied. "I really need your help for this... it's important."

"Ok what's the deal?' The feline replied, adjusting his glasses. He was carrying a large backpack practically stuffed with what was essentially an electronics lab.

"Well... What do you know about androids?" Rinn said cautiously.

"I know that the A.I. programs are extraordinarly complex. Why do you ask?"

"Well.. come on in here." Rinn led the panther into the room where Avari was. The panther looked at her curiously.
""No way, she's a real android?" He stared in disbeleif, getting very close.

"I, yeah she is. We met in Gawain, and I hired her on as my bodyguard." Rinn replied, circling around her other side. "Something happened in the last day or two... She's been acting strange... and now she doesn't even remember any of this." He said looking at her with a little sadness.

"So thats why you called me out?" The panther replied, looking up at Rinn.

"I'm sorry but you're the best programmer I know, If anyone can fix her It's you. I'll even pay you for it." Rinn half pleaded.

"Hey, it's okay man, I'll see what I can do." Tom said with a nod, "At the very least I can find out what's responsible for this."

"Thank you Tom, it means a lot to me." Rinn said, feeling a little relieved.

"Ok so Let's get a-movin'!" The panther said in a fake gruff sounding accent. He set down his backpack on a nearby wheeled table, beginning to unpack.

It was almost torture for Avari, to be laying there, not knowing what was going on, not knowing what had happened to Leto. And at the same time, she kept glancing over at the canine, who was pacing around the room for hours. She frowned, her memories still fuzzy, yet she had a strong feeling that she knew him, and yet…she couldn’t quite remember where she knew him from.

She strained to watch him as he left the room, only to see him return with a feline a few moments later. They were standing awfully close to her, and she wondered if they were going to take her apart. A low growl formed at the back of her throat as the feline leaned in closer, her mechanics straining to free herself, causing even more electric sparks to fly off her body. She kept growling, as she looked back and forth between the two males, not knowing what they were planning to do with her.

However, her brow furrowed in confusing as Rinn talked about how they had met, and yet, she couldn’t quite remember him. But something told her that she did know him. Thoroughly confused, she whimpered as she looked up at him, hoping that maybe he’d just let her go. She nervously glanced over at the panther as he started pulling stuff out of his bag, and once more she started to struggle against the bindings, only to cause more damage to herself. “Please…â€

Rinn looked at her, feeling bad about all of this.
"Avari, you've been infected with a virus or something. Whatever it is, it's affecting your memories." Rinn said, with a half pleading voice. While he was doing this, Tom took the opportunity to reach around and plug an interface cable into her.

For a few minutes, the panther simply examined her system, going through the mazes of programming that made up the android's mind, eyes going wide.
"Holy... Rinn what happened?" he asked. "This.. this is one hell of a worm. I'm not sure that I can fix it."
Rinn's heart sank. "C-can you at least try?"
The panther thought for a while.
"I'll give it a shot." Tom said as he began typing carefully. Rinn tried to watch for a little bit, but the maze of code and programming was all but gibberish to him. Tom understood it however, and was engaged in a battle against one of the most agressive worms he'd ever seen. it actually seemed to be going through and replacing her memories with artificial ones. Luckily he knew of a trick or two that might be able to recover the deleted memories. He hoped for his friend's sake that it would work.
The pantehr had to admit, this was one hell of a challenge.

Avari looked up at Rinn, computing his words, yet she couldn’t fully understand what had happened. But there was just something within her that knew… “Rinn…â€

Rinn felt his heart jump inside him when she said his name. Almost immediately he looked to her. "Avari.... Do-do you remember?" He gently reached out, placing his hand on hers gently. He searched her eyes, looking for recognition

"What the." The panther said quietly as he worked. He didn't understand what was going on, but he knew it must be bad. "Rinn... We've got a bit of a problem here." He said, not taking his eyes off of the screen. Furiously he typed, closing down as many of the unnecessary systems as he could. He knew this wouldn't last forever, he just hoped it was enough for his anti-virus programs to try and overpower the malignant program.

Rinn looked between them worriedly, gently gripping the android's hand. "Please Avari, Hold on." He said softly.

Avari’s hand tightened around Rinn’s as all her systems turned on and she winced. The abruptness of it all was causing many of her systems to overload. She gasped in pain as her entire body heated up, and she looked up at Rinn, and everything seemed to click into place, she remembered him and everything about him. It all dawned on her, with how she was acting, and she looked worriedly up at Rinn. “Rinn…I’m so sorry….â€
